Chungbuk National University Lecture

From February 5 to February 7, Chungbuk National University hosted a course on AI and autonomous driving for its students. Featuring both lecture-based theory and practical sessions, the course provided a comprehensive understanding of real-world self-driving technologies.
During the theoretical segment, students were introduced to fundamental AI and autonomous driving principles. The course also covered up-to-date technology trends and industrial applications, enabling participants to gain insights into the current state of the field.
In the subsequent hands-on sessions, students programmed their own autonomous driving algorithms using AWS DeepRacer, testing them in simulation and on real mini-model vehicles. With guidance available from the instructor, participants explored and implemented solutions to real-world autonomous driving scenarios.
Through this course, students practiced applying theoretical knowledge to a concrete technology—autonomous driving—and developed valuable problem-solving skills. Additionally, the experience sparked further interest in autonomous driving and improved their technical capabilities. Such educational initiatives aim to help students gain practical understanding and adaptability in response to evolving technologies, better preparing them for the future.
