Incheon Teacher Training Program

On January 22 and 23, a two-day AWS DeepRacer training workshop was successfully conducted for teachers in Incheon. The workshop aimed to help educators improve their knowledge of artificial intelligence and learn how to use AWS DeepRacer as an effective teaching tool.

The program covered practical considerations for incorporating AWS DeepRacer into classrooms, such as student account management, cost efficiency, and vehicle maintenance—all of which are essential for teachers who will be managing and administering AI learning tools. Additionally, teachers worked hands-on with the AWS console to train models, run simulations, and deploy models to an actual DeepRacer vehicle. Through these activities, they gained both firsthand experience with AI technology and increased their sense of confidence in teaching it.

As a result of this training, teachers can now more effectively utilize AWS DeepRacer to offer students real-world AI development experiences. They also benefited from networking opportunities, sharing best practices and insights with their fellow educators, which can further enhance their collective professional growth.

This type of continued teacher training is expected to improve educators’ digital capabilities while creating a future-ready school environment that provides richer learning experiences for students.
