2023 Advanced Fields Innovation & Convergence University Future Mobility Consortium Event Outsourcing

On July 6, the 2023 Future Mobility Innovation-Convergence University AWS DeepRacer Championship League was held with great success under the auspices of the Future Mobility Consortium for Advanced Fields Innovation & Convergence Universities, organized by the Future Mobility Center at Inha University. The event is a racing competition leveraging AI-based autonomous driving technology, in which teams from universities participating in the Future Mobility Innovation-Convergence University Consortium nationwide showcased their skills.

In the competition, Team Ada from Inha University took first place with a remarkable record of 8.87 seconds, gaining attention through their outstanding algorithm design and strategy. After a fierce contest, Team ASAP from Kookmin University claimed second place with a record of 9.61 seconds, followed by Team KimchiSamgyeopBokkeum from Keimyung University in third place with 9.74 seconds.

This event was highly praised for offering practical experience to the young leaders of the future automotive industry and for enhancing participants’ understanding of AI and autonomous driving technologies. Each university team tested their skills and shared the latest industry and academic trends.

The AWS DeepRacer Championship League has solidified its role not only as a festive gathering for the next generation of tech talent but also as an important milestone in future technology development. All the participating teams used this experience as a stepping stone for even greater challenges, and their continued advancements in technology are eagerly anticipated.
