Inha University Lecture

On June 19, Inha University successfully held an educational program called “Learning Autonomous Driving and AI with AWS DeepRacer.” This program offered students a unique opportunity to explore and understand the latest trends in autonomous vehicle and AI technologies.
The lecture began by introducing the core principles of AI and the theoretical background of autonomous driving. Students learned how AI learns and how it is applied in real-world scenarios. By examining real examples of AI training processes, participants were able to form a clearer picture of theoretical concepts.
Following the theoretical component, a hands-on workshop session featured AWS DeepRacer as the main tool. AWS DeepRacer is a miniature model that simulates a self-driving vehicle. Students used this platform to code and test autonomous driving algorithms themselves. By doing so, they put their newly acquired theoretical knowledge into practice, gaining first-hand insights into the complexity and challenges of building an autonomous driving system.
Beyond simply transmitting knowledge, this program gave students valuable practical exposure to future technologies. By offering real-world project experiences, Inha University plays an important role in equipping students with a deeper understanding of emerging fields. Ultimately, these educational initiatives aim to help students develop the skills and knowledge needed to adapt to rapid technological change.
